  • Adani Total Gas reported Rs 1,491 crore revenue in Q1 FY26, marking a 21% year-on-year growth driven by a 21% rise in CNG volumes.
  • The company expanded its network to 650 CNG stations and connected over 9.9 lakh homes with PNG, nearing a 1 million consumer base.
  • Despite a 31% rise in gas costs, stable EBITDA was maintained through efficient sourcing, digitalisation, and calibrated pricing.

Adani Total Gas Ltd (ATGL), a key player in India’s energy transition landscape, reported a robust 21% rise in revenue from operations to Rs 1,491 crore for the April–June quarter (Q1 FY26), driven by a significant 21% year-on-year growth in CNG volumes and overall volume growth of 16%.

In a statement issued on Monday, the company highlighted a strong operational performance across its City Gas Distribution (CGD) network, which now comprises 650 CNG stations across 34 Geographical Areas (GAs). ATGL also announced that over 9.9 lakh households are now connected to Piped Natural Gas (PNG), with PNG volume registering a 6% increase year-on-year.

The company added 157 new Industrial and Commercial customers in Q1, taking the total number of such connections to 9,456. Executive Director and CEO Suresh P Manglani stated, “We are continuing our CGD network expansion across all GAs with over 14,000 inch-km of backbone steel pipelines, and we are close to touching the 1 million consumer base.”

EV infrastructure development also showed progress, with EV charging points increasing to over 3,800. This growth comes amid challenges in gas sourcing, particularly with the allocation of APM (Administered Price Mechanism) gas for CNG limited to 43%, requiring the company to source the remainder from higher-priced new wells and HPHT (High Pressure High Temperature) gas fields.

Despite a 31% rise in gas costs, the company reported stable EBITDA performance, attributed to improved operational efficiency, strategic sourcing, and process digitalisation. “Our efforts have ensured 100% supply reliability and prudent pricing for both PNG and CNG consumers”, Manglani added.

Adani Total Gas maintained a calibrated pricing strategy to support volume growth while partially offsetting the increased costs. Reinforcing its commitment to India’s green energy goals, the company said it will continue offering low-carbon energy solutions across the industrial, residential, and transport sectors, positioning itself as a key driver in the nation’s clean energy transition.
