
Ericsson Wins Multi-Year NOC Managed Services Deal with Bharti Airtel

Ericsson has been awarded a significant multi-year Network Operations Center (NOC) Managed Services contract by Bharti Airtel, further cementing the longstanding partnership between the two telecom giants. This strategic deal highlights Ericsson’s leadership in managed services and its commitment to enhancing Airtel’s network performance and customer experience.
Under the agreement, Ericsson will deploy intent-based operations powered by its centralized NOC to manage Airtel’s extensive network infrastructure, covering 4G, 5G NSA (Non-Standalone), 5G SA (Standalone), Fixed Wireless Access (FWA), Private Networks, and Network Slicing. The partnership will enable Ericsson to manage Airtel’s pan-India network, while scaling FWA and network slicing capabilities across the country.

This partnership builds on over 25 years of collaboration between Ericsson and Bharti Airtel, spanning multiple mobile technology generations. It also follows closely after Airtel’s recent collaboration with Ericsson on 5G Core development to accelerate India’s 5G evolution.
