Clearly grasping this, Reema Transport Private Limited(RTPL), a Mumbai based Company that has been in the transport business for 35 glorious years, ventured into the cold chain transport in 2004, with world-class technologies. With a fleet strength of 70 custom built vehicles in dimensions ranging from 17 ft.,to 28 ft.,capable of attaining temperature range between -25 degrees C to + 25
degree C, and fabricated to Global pallet sizes, with Pharma grade stainless steel interiors and high-quality PUFF/XPS thermal insulated body, RTPL offers seamless cold chain services to its clients, with maximum volume utilization. With stringent adherence to SOPs, the in-house Thermal Imaging Process is conducted on Reefer container body through US-based FLIR thermal imaging Camera. Thermal Qualification Study (temperature mapping) of the Containers is performed prior to inducting vehicles into active service, ensuring they qualify on specified parameters of Pharma cold chain. “Our vehicles are equipped with two-way temperature monitoring systems, through the data logger and the GPS sensor, says Dileep Naik, Managing Director, Reema Transport.

This ISO 9001:2015 certified company adheres to GDP, C-TPAT, and is one of the few transport companies holding a Trade License u/s 394 of the MMC Act, to carry on Road transportation business. RTPL uses Quality Management System Procedures with process-based
approach in all its operations, and provides cost-effective services with strong contingency plans. RTPL enables its customers to track their shipments online through GPS. No wonder, this professionalism has been honoured with several awards & recognitions for its cold chain services, that include ‘Best Cold Chain - Pharma – 2016’ by TATA Strategic Management Group & CNBC TV 18, ‘National Award for Excellence in Refrigerated Movements’ by Mahindra Transport Excellence Awards, and ‘Best Reefer Service Provider of the Year’ by Cold Chain Industry Awards, to name a few.

RTPL employs skilled & trained workforce to manage its cold chain operations, and ensure safe and timely transit of critical shipments. They constantly monitor the vehicle location and temperature, and in an unforeseen event, back up contingency plan is activated as per defined SOPs, to address the challenge. In-house training is imparted to its employees, including drivers, by Vendors and Manufactures. RTPL also celebrates Drivers’ Day annually to felicitate drivers. “Training and knowledge awareness is imparted periodically to drivers and support staff, in handling reefer vehicles, Temperature Sensors, Air Conditioning Units, and safe handling of cargo,” adds Dileep.
