If a picture is worth a thousand words, a 360-degree product image is priceless. In today's digital age, as consumers increasingly prefer to buy products online even more since the onset of COVID-19 brands must offer a more engaging and effortless shopping experience to stay ahead of the competition. While there are various ways to present products online, 360- degree turntable photography is one of the most effective ways of enriching the overall e-Commerce experience. From jewellery to running shoes, apparels, to even fuel pumps, all products benefit significantly from the detailed, interactive experience that a motorised photography turntable creates. Beyond providing visual information about a product from all sides and angles, 360 degree turntable photography helps shoppers form a connection similar to seeing, touching, or handling a product physically. In the same vein, Ahmedabad based Rotocular Photographic, a manufacturer of automated 360-degree product photography equipment, aims to bridge the gap between sellers and buyers in terms of visual merchandising, and in turn, increase sales and boost customer loyalty.

“Rotocular's uniqueness lies in its ability to empower clients to create ‘their own studio'for table top imaging, 360-degree surface mount imaging, hanging 360-degree imaging, and numerous other applications"

"When shopping online, customers are often unsure whether a product will turn out exactly the way they expect it to.360-degree product photography drives this confusion away, which results in higher conversions," says Divyakant Brahmakshatriya, Founder of
Rotocular Photographic."Besides, when you can see a product from all sides and control the interaction, you feel more confident about your purchase and are less likely to return the product. This helps brands earn their customers'trust".

Rotocular's 360 degree product photography solution includes an automated turn table synchronised with selected DSLR cameras, personal computers, and smart phones. In addition, Rotocular provides a flexible, fold able, and light weight Studio Light Box containing photographic LED lights with up to 5600K colour temperature and a colour rendering index(CRI) of more than 96. These features ensure 100 percent originality of colours in an image. Also, the box's 21000 lumens provide sufficient brightness for DSLR cameras and smart phones to capture products from all angles and deliver top quality results. What makes Rotocular's solution all the more effective are the comprehensive, user friendly editing and publishing software offerings Roto360+ and RotoCam which provide speedy and qualitative output under three minutes and with batch processing. These software solutions offer a broad live view for users to easily define the centre and various angles of the product while also displaying all the camera control options to enhance the image as required.
